Lamb Burgers

All flavorful; all nutritious; all good for you; and, all gluten free! Just look at how amazing this summertime plate looks! Here this burger is served with my Lemon  Herb Mayo Spread (click for recipe).

Here is my recipe:
3/4 pound ground lamb
1/4 pound ground turkey
1/4 pound ground sausage
1 large  egg, slightly beaten
2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt or (to taste)
1 tablespoon Fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary finely chopped
2 tablespoons butter

Here is how I put this burger together:
1. Place lamb, ground turkey and sausage in a large mixing bowl. Sprinkle with salt; add minced mint and rosemary leaves. Using a wooden spoon, thoroughly combine. Using clean hands, loosely shape into 4 1/3-pound burgers,

2. Place butter in skillet over medium-high heat. Place raw burgers in skillet. Cook approximately 4 to 5 minutes per side without mashing or until internal temperature reaches 150 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove and tent with foil for 4 to 5 minutes to keep juices inside burgers.

3. To serve, build burger to suit your tastes.
